Boe Boe Aung Buddha Image

The Bo Bo Aung’s Wish-Fulfilling Cave Buddha image is housed in the Gandhakuṭi Hall within the Kanna Market’s Two-Pennies pavilion near the Sunday corner of the Shwedagon Pagoda. It was donated by the prominent figure Bo Bo Aung, after whom the image is named. There is a passage below the Gandhakuṭi Hall that leads to the Shwedagon Pagoda’s relic chamber, which is always locked.
