The Buddha’s Footprint is located along the main path leading to the eastern entrance of the Shwedagon Pagoda. It was constructed and donated by U Shwe Aung and Daw Nu. The pavilion houses a footprint of the Buddha, which serves as a sacred representation of the Buddha’s presence and is referred to as the “Pāda Ceti” (Footprint Pagoda).
