At the Rāhu corner of the main terrace, there is the Victory Grounds area. Viewed from above, it resembles a blooming lotus flower, slightly elevated from the main terrace. This area offers a clear view of the pagoda, making it a fitting and harmonious place for worship. It is a place where people gather for solemn vows and meditation. There are three notable Victory Grounds around the Shwedagon Pagoda:
1. Sunday Corner: Near the Three Triple Umbrella Pagodas in front of the Bo Bo Aung Cave Pagoda.
2. Tuesday Corner: Near the tall inscription pillar in front of the Siddhattha’s Four Noble Truths shrine.
3. Rāhu Corner: The Victory Grounds itself.
